Although the State Association of MTLSO is comprised of Miss Texas Organization local franchise holders, the Miss Texas Organization (MTO) is not and never has been a sponsoring agent for the Miss Teen Texas Pageant or any other children’s pageant.  All rules, guidelines, and judging are the sole responsibility of the Board of Directors of the State Association of MTLSO.  The Miss Texas Organization is very supportive of the efforts being made with the Miss Teen Texas Program and they maintain an “arms length” attitude with regard to their interest in the program.
